About the Higgs Business Incubation Centre (Higgs BIC)
The Higgs Centre for Innovation provides a unique environment for start-ups to grow.
The Higgs BIC is available to high-tech companies seeking to grow their businesses in technology areas related to space, particle physics or another STFC discipline.
Who can apply
- UK-registered companies, including at least one company members located in the UK
- New or existing companies less than 5 years old
- Viable business plan
Support package
The Higgs BIC provides an outstanding support package for start-ups. Successful applicants will be provided with:

- Business Development, Support & Advice
- Unique Technical Support & Expertise
